Clinical masks should be kept for the use of Health professionals.

The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention now advise people to cover their faces to try to hamper the spread of viruses and will reserve hospital grade masks for medical workers.

CDC recommends wearing face coverings in public settings where other social distancing measures are difficult to maintain,” such as supermarkets or public transport, “especially in areas of significant community-based transmission,”

It’s good to think about wearing a mask as protecting your community and asking your community to do the same for you.

Although masks are not the perfect tool for preventing the spread of an illness, in a world without a vaccine or any clinically proven treatment for the current virus situation they may be one more ounce of prevention that can help slow the spread across a community, especially when people who don’t yet know they’re infected wear them to protect others.

Among people that need to travel to get to work, particularly people who need to go through crowded areas like trains, planes and all public transport systems, wearing masks could be particularly useful.
